GENERAL RULES
--- Respect everyone on this site no matter their age, religion, sexual orientation, biological gender and preferences. Bullying in any way shape or form will not be tolerated on Skin-Walkers. If you feel like you’re being bullied PM a staff member immediately, let us know what is happening and we’ll deal with the problem immediately.
--- Skin-Walkers is a PG-13 rated site because that is the Terms we agree on while using Proboards. If you want an area that is a higher rating then please either PM a staff and the staff will converse about it or keep higher rated material in PMs with whoever you’re role-playing with.
--- Swearing is not recommended but is not illegal. Please keep swearing to a minimum on Skin-Walkers because it may offend some members.
--- No spamming anywhere on this site or in other words don’t double post. There is an ‘edit’ button for a reason—right?
--- When it comes to art, do not claim it as your own and get permission for the artist. We don’t want any plagiarism on Skin-Walkers.
--- There is no advertising allowed anywhere but our Advertisment board . This means no links in the chat-box.
--- There is no activity requirement however, we would appreciate if our members stayed active because it makes Skin-Walkers more fun and allows a wider span of role-playing.
--- Skin-Walkers has no set character limit. Though we do expect that you only make characters that you can handle so every character can have an active role on the site.
--- Follow the provided biography form while creating a character. This allows staff to quickly check biographies and also adds uniformity to the site.
ROLE-PLAYING RULES
--- No power-playing or god-modding on Skin-Walkers. That means no super powers, killing another role-players character without permission, auto-hits, or having characters that never get hurt. If a staff member ask you to change your post because there is power-playing or god-modding, please don’t argue with them just do it. If you think the staff member is wrong please PM another staff member for their advice.
--- Here on Skin-Walkers we have a 50 word count limit. We understand that muse is low from time to time so please let a staff know if you’re struggling a bit with reaching the limit.
--- Using third person and past tense is the easiest form of role-playing that everyone can understand. Thus we highly recommend that our members use third person in character role-plays.
--- Liquid time is used here on Skin-Walkers. Basically you can have multiple threads with the same character involved in every one. Please make sure you define the events happening and if you can include where they came from or events from a previous thread. Make each thread as clear as possible but not happening all at the same time.
--- Graphic relationship events will be frowned upon. Although can be fun we advise to stay away from these types of post because it can upset other members. If you want to do something graphic between characters take it to a PM, make sure it is okay with the other role-player involved though.
--- When creating a thread make sure to add a clear title stating whether the thread is open to all or a select few. If open to a select few list either the names of the characters or role-player.
