It was a nice warm summer day. School was out and Riku never had to go back to class if she didn't want to. However the young eighteen year old had plans to attend college once school started up again. Silently she walked through the woods toward the lake, a small white zebra stripped back pack slung over her shoulder as she explored in jean shorts and a powder blue shirt. After yards of walking Riku came to the lake shore, a smile pushed the corners of her lips back as she looked at the glimmering water. It was beautiful but it was a shame none of her friends could make the trip with her. Briskly she removed her shoes and walked along the shore line to the opposite side of the lake where a slight overhang of land was. The young Asian sat down on the ledge and let her feet hang in the water. Her thin fingers twisted in the grass as she leaned back to look at the sky. Such a soft baby blue and dappled with white fluffy clouds. Finally a place that is open beyond belief, she thought happily to herself. That meant no panic attacks caused by her claustrophobia but it was a bit lonely out here. Slowly she picked up a smooth, flat rock and rolled it between her fingers. Then subconsciously placed it between her fingers and let it rip. The small rock skipped seven times across the water before sitting to the bottom. She watched as the seven ripples slowly pulsed across the waters surface before fading away once again. Then there was the sound of movement, maybe one of her friends decided to show up after all. "Hello?" She called out with her soft, gentle tone.
