Xavier Vincent Thantos
Anuk Dakshesh
Date of Birth:December 7th 2031-17 yrs
Species:Human
Biological Gender:Male
Sexual Orientation:Pansexual
Education Level:basic reading/writing skills
Job Field: fishermen
Hair Color:Tar Black
Eye Color:Red-brown
Height:5'9"
Weight:145lbs
Appearance:Anuk is a thin and almost frail looking teen. He is made of wiry muscles and stands somewhat short compared to his siblings. He has dark hair that is usually a mess but when him and his sister venture into the human town he'll clean up some. His skin is a nice olive-like color, his skin always a healthy sun soaked tone no matter the time of year. His skin is also littered with several scars, some being childhood accidents while others inflicted in fights with Skin-Walkers, some of which are his own adoptive siblings. He tends to dress in clothes a bit too big for his body when he ventures into town, but in the forest that is his home he tends to run around in pants that don't drag along too much.
Strengths: fast thinker, strong swimmer, strong climber, Archer, clever at making traps
Weaknesses: town, not good at close combat, items from human civilization, socializing
Likes: fishing, water, swimming, bow hunting, sleeping in the trees, green apples, books, learning about humans, hanging out with his sister Bala, teaching his younger siblings to read
Dislikes: Ajit bullying him, Ajit in general, being underestimated, heavy rains, being banned from going into town, being looked down upon, hand to hand combat, not knowing why he can't shift forms.
Personality:Anuk tends to keep quiet for the most part. He isn't too good at socializing with others and due to believing he is a Skin-Walker without the ability to shift has made him a bit of an outcast amongst the Skin-Walkers. He is unaware that he is human, constantly doing what he can that even without the ability to change shape he can be useful in keeping his family safe. When he's around other he'll stay quiet, not wanting to stir up a fight since many his age avoid him when he tries to interact with those in the forest outside of his family. He has an adoration for books, his family not letting him have too many with their more nomadic means of living. when he isn't surrounded by others he is known to have a great deal of focus in his face, normally sneaking around in town while sticking to the edge of the forest to keep hidden while learning about humans. In a sense he is sheltered, but only in the sense of there being Skin-Walkers living in the towns and even more civilized ones living somewhere in the forest. Anuk tries his hardest to talk to others, normally getting a bit tongue tied considering he speaks two languages, one of which isn't spoken so much around humans in this area. The only time one see's the brighter and much more happier side of Anuk appear is when he's out swimming or going fishing. He believes he and Bala make the best team when it comes to hunting food down, only showing his emotions and talking the easiest with her out of everyone else around him.

History:Anuk was born as Xavier to humans Jasmine and Victor not too long after the Skin-Walkers first arrived but before the humans knew of them. His parents were young but from wealthy government families. His parents lived in what was once lovely houses in the forest, but one evening when infant Xavier was being watched by a nanny, the house went up in flames. His nanny had been killed but Xavier saved by Ganjan before he could be hurt. The child did end up with a nasty burn on his arm, making the Skin-Walker bring the child to his wife and two children deeper in the forest to take care of. Brinda knew he couldn't be returned at this point, both Brinda and Ganjan believing his parents were dead. Instead they chose to raise him as one of their own, hiding away the baby items that held proof of his real name and species before renaming him Anuk for how small and frail he seemed.
Over the years Anuk grew up to be somewhat strong, sticking to the forest for the most part and even avoiding some of the other Skin-Walkers in the area. he's a bit of an outcast due to not being able to shift into a new shape like other Skin-Walkers, completely unaware that he is a human. He's been told he just wasn't given this ability and that it happens, though rarely. He grew up bullied and at times beaten up by his brother Ajit, the Skin-Walker knowing Anuk was human but keeping honor of his parents in not saying a word about it. He learned to read and write both English and the Sanskrit his family speaks, though he still struggles with english sometimes. this learning ended up being his escape from being chased around and tortured by his big brother, instead starting to teach Bala and the rest of their siblings as they grew old enough to read. He helps support the family now even with how nomadic as they are by fishing and bow hunting small game. As he's gotten older though, he's developed a curiosity of the town that he's been told is near by and just what exactly are humans. His parents and Bala do their best with keeping him from going into the town, but Anuk just wants to understand the civilization he assumes his family wants to stay far far away from. He sticks to the forest for the most part, but there are times where he'll venture to the edge of town, sometimes stealing books or just watching the humans.
